Don’t Miss the Opportunity to Work for The Lord

1 Cor 3:8-15 (ESV) He who plants & he who waters are one in purpose, & each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building. According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. —It is important to build ourselves, & to build others into faithful, growing in the love of Christ! There are rewards for our labors that are out of this world! Love Mel

Put Away all Evil Inclinations

2 Tim 3:1-17 (ESV)Understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. — Wow, this pretty much sums it up! My question to you is, do you believe that we are there? So what should we do? — 1 Peter 2:1-3 So put away all malice; all deceit; hypocrisy; envy & all slander. Like newborn infants, LONG FOR the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.— Amen Love Mel

Is it Well??

2 King 4:26 Run at once to meet her and say to her, ‘Is all well with you? Is all well with your husband? Is all well with the child?’” And she answered, “All is well.” 2 Kings 4:32-35 When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. So he went in and shut the door behind the two of them and prayed to the Lord. Then he went up & lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, & his hands on his hands. & as he stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. Then he got up again & walked once back & forth in the house, & went up & stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, & the child opened his eyes. — We must practice the saying, ALL IS WELL, until we believe it! If we are to believe, we must do it with all earnestness. For no matter what, with God, ALL IS WELL! Love Mel

Prayer

Pray with boldness, persistence & patience! – Matt 7:7 (ESV) Ask, & it will be given to you; seek, & you will find; knock, & it will be opened to you. Eph 6:18 Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer & supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, Col4:2 Pray diligently. Stay alert, with your eyes wide open in gratitude. Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart: Luke 18:6-8 The Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. & will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day & night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” — Be willing to ask, seek & knock! Be willing to pray day & night! Be willing to wait for His answer! It will come , for He is trust worthy! Love Mel

Forgiveness!!

The word of God! —Matt 6:14-15 (ESV)For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt 7:2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, & with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Mark4:23-25 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” & he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, & still more will be added to you. For to the one who has, more will be given, & from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Luke 11:42 Woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint, rue & every herb, & neglect justice & the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.—There is hope in the word of God! You see no matter what your circumstances are, there is a free gift of forgiveness! May we always receive it in good ground so that it will feed our souls. For the more we share the gifts God has given us with our brethren, the more bountiful God will be toward us. We must never neglect His love! It is real love that multiplies as we forgive & forgive & forgive…! Love Mel
