Peace is Important to the Process

Isaiah 26:3 (ESV)You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. — God always provides His children with peace & comfort unlike no other when we come to Him. He provides the Holy Spirit to help us stay calm in the storms of life. — Psalm 37:8 “Calm your anger & abandon wrath. Don’t be angry— it only leads to evil.” James 1:12 “A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. Rom 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” — The wrath belongs to God! Our job is to be at peace with all men, stay calm in the storm, put our trust in God & focus on pleasing God! When we pass the test we will receive the crown of life! Love Mel

We Are the Righteousness of God in Christ

Titus 3:7 (NLT) Because of His grace He made us right in His sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. 2 Thes 2:16 (ESV) Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself & God our Father, who by grace has loved us & given us eternal comfort & good hope, comfort  your hearts & establish them in every good work & word. 2Tim 1:9 He has saved us & called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose & by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.  Titus 3:5 -6 He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration & renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior. — Did you get that His Grace was given before the world began, so you can deduct that it certainly doesn’t depend on our good works! How about the fact that He saved us according to His mercy not the works done by us! Lest we should boast! We must know that God saved us! He gave it all that we might be saved from eternal damnation! He poured out on us the righteousness of Jesus Christ! A love like no other. Love Mel

Plead the Blood!

Jesus was tested by Satan & these are His replies! Matt 4:4 (ESV) Jesus said to him, “It is written,“‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” 7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God & Him only shall you serve.’” —Live by the word of God, do not test God, & Worship & Serve God ONLY!  Remember Satan is our enemy that comes to steal, kill & destroy! Our God promised us the abundant life! & Don’t ever forget that God gave us “one little word” that will fell Satan! JESUS our Savior! And He loves us! Love Mel

Cry Out to God

Have you ever felt like you were in miry clay or sinking sand? Psalm 40:1-4 He inclined to me & heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, & set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see & fear, & put their trust in the LORD! Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust. Psalm 40:16-17 May all who seek you rejoice & be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the LORD!” As for me, I am poor & needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help & my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!— Bottom line is if you ever feel stuck or overwhelmed the key is to “Cry out to God” reason being, no matter what, you can TRUST God”! He is GREATER than any situation, sickness, sadness or sin! For Great is our God! Hallelujah! TYJ. Love Mel

The Spirit Testifies

John 1:12 (ESV)To all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Gal 3:26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons (Children) of God, through faith. Rom 8:17 If children, then heirs—heirs of God & fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. — He tells us that in this world there will be tribulations but to be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world! — 1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, & establish you. — Glory to God for the suffering is but for a short time & His blessings are for eternity! Hallelujah! Love Mel
