Treasures in Heaven: 1 Cor 2:9(ESV) It is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who LOVE Him.” Luke 23:43 He(Jesus) said to him(thief on cross), “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in PARADISE. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 1 Peter 1:4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, & unfading, kept in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:7 So that the tested genuineness of your FAITH—more precious than GOLD that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise, glory & honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen Him, you LOVE Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him & rejoice with JOY that is inexpressible & filled with glory, Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. — We must covet these things for they are what matters most in the Heavenly Kingdom! Treasure in Heaven is the Way to Go!!
Phil 3:20 (ESV)Our citizenship is in heaven, & from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:2 (KJV) In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it werenot so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:3 (ESV) If I go & prepare a place for you, I will come again & will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. —Our God told us this is not our home, we are just passing through!!He also told us that He was leaving to go build us a place! A mansion, no doubt! He promised to return to get us as well! And oh what a place it is, no more pain, no more tears… Now that you see, we must do what He tells us in… Matt 6:19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth & rust destroy & where thieves break in & steal. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Isaiah 40:11 He will tend His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs in His arms; He will carry them in His bosom, & gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong & courageous. Honor Thy Father and Mother – the First Command with a Promise
John 19:26-27 (ESV) When Jesus saw his mother & the disciple whom He loved (John) standing nearby, He said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” & from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. —Christ tenderly provided for His mother at His death. He was telling John to take care of His mother like he would his own mother. At the foot of the Cross, is the scene of profound love. Jesus’ last act before willingly laying down His life, was to take care of His Mother in a profound personal way. What an absolutely amazing picture of pure love! Hope you had a blessed Mother’s Day! The Fruit of the Spirit
Matt 23:3… They (the Pharisees) don’t practice what they teach. Matt 23:25 Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup & the plate, but inside they are full of greed & self-indulgence. Matt 15:3 He answered them, “Why do you break the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? Matt 6:1 Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. — What is in the heart matters most to God! Beware of practicing greed, self indulgence & religion! Instead practice the fruits of the spirit! — Gal 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control. Against such things there is no law. Col 3:14 Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. — Love is the greatest & love covers a multitude of sin!
