Lam 3:22-23 (ESV)The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Eph 2:4-5 God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Hebr 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy & find grace to help in time of need. —God’s mercies are new everyday! Don’t be like the Israelites & cling to your old ways , old past, but let go & let God bring you to the promised land! This means trust Him! It is thru this trust that He can bring forth breakthroughs. Look to Him to fulfill your needs! For His greatness is way better than anything we can conjure up in the flesh! Love Mel

Eph 6:13-14(ESV) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withSTAND in the evil day, & having done all, to STAND firm. STAND therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, & having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 1Cor 16:13 Be watchful, STAND firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 2 Thes 2:15 So then, brothers, STAND firm & hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.  Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. —The Key: In the end we want to still be standing! Col 2:6-7 (ESV) Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted & built up in him & established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Eph 3:17 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted & grounded in love. —Have you ever considered Gods plants? The seed sends its shoots to the ground to gather the nutrients that are necessary to live, while at the same time it sends its shoots up for the world to enjoy! Both are required! The roots grow deeper & the plant becomes stronger! This is a picture of what we must do to become the Christian that is strong! Be strong in faith, being rooted & grounded in the love of God. Mark 11:25 whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Matt 6:15 If you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Luke6:27 I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Rom 12:17 Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. —Tear up the debts! What has been done is not ok, but it is Forgiveness of others that opens the heavens for God to forgive us! We serve a gracious & forgiving God! He wants us to learn to do the same for others, which then opens the door for Him to forgive us! Maybe we could look at it as a trade of one tit for another tat! Treat others as we want to be treated! The reward is our forgiveness!! Love Mel

Gen 7:7 Noah & his sons & his wife & his sons’ wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood. Hebr 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world & became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. —- What if! Today, Would you get on the Ark? What would you bring with you? First, if God says GO, are you willing? — Gen 7:6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. Gen 6:8 Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Gen 6:22Noah did this; he did ALL that God commanded him. — Noah was favored by God, he was 600 years old, He was willing & he did ALL that God Commanded! Well I would love to say a resounding yes, but to be real I will have to say only by the grace of God! As for what would I carry with me? That would be as many family & friends that I could persuade to go on the journey with me! It is worthy of some thought! Love Mel
