Stress brings with it shock, isolation, pain, panic, anxiety, sorrow, anger, etc 

We must learn to —Lean not on our own understanding! & Remember We can do all things thru God who gives us strength. —When we try to handle our problems in our own strength we fall prey to the enemies tactics. — Psalm 40:1-2 (KJV) I WAITED PATIENTLY for the LORD; & He inclined unto me, & heard my cry. He brought me up  out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, & set my feet upon a rock, & established my goings. — When we WAIT PATIENTLY, we find Him! He pulls us up out of the miry clay. Not my will but your Lord! I TRUST YOU! When we get here we finally understand — Phil 4:12-13 I know both how to be abased, & I know how to abound: every where & in all things I am instructed both to be full & to be hungry, both to abound & to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Love Mel

John 1:5-4 (ESV) For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world—OUR FAITH. Hebr 11:1 Now FAITH is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God & have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 Cor 15:57Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! — OUR FAITH is the VICTORY that has overcome this world! — 2Cor 5:7 For we walk by FAITH, not by sight. Rom 8:28 (ESV) We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. Rom 11:28 For the gifts & the calling of God are irrevocable.—Facing adversity with an eternal perspective, requires real trust in God! The belief in His strength & willingness to surrender to Him. It is here where we can understand the scripture, ALL things work for the Good of those that are called according to His purpose. Our trust in His goodness, His power, & His will opens the door for Him to work out all things for our good. Keep believing no matter what! Remember we can believe in His promises. Love Mel

Our Purpose—Luke 10:27 (ESV) He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart & with all your soul & with all your strength & with all your mind, & your neighbor as yourself.” 1Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Cor 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Deut 31:6 (ESV) Be strong & courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Matt 10:28 Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul & body in hell.— O Lord, you who ask us to do the impossible—to bless our enemies, to pray for those who persecute us, & to love those who seek to harm us—we pray that you would do the impossible in us: Help us to love our enemies as you love them & to remember who our true enemy is: Satan & spiritual forces of evil.
