He is Worthy of Our Trust!

What does the Bible say about trusting God? Prov 3:5 (ESV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, & do not lean on your own understanding.— How many times do we allow doubt to creep in due to our own “understanding”! Do we or do we not believe “Romans 8:28 We know that for those who love God all things work together for GOOD, for those who are called according to His purpose.” And don’t forget what He says in Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength & my shield; in Him my heart trusts, & I am helped; my heart exults, & with my song I give thanks to Him. — Always remember to give thanks to Him! Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, & we are His; we are His people, & the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, & His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, & His faithfulness to all generations. Love Mel

Prayer

Prayer is our battle cry! Eph 6:18 (NIV) Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers & requests. With this in mind, be alert & always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.  Psalm 149:6 (ESV) Let the high praises of God be in their throats & two-edged swords in their hands,  Hebr 4:12 For the word of God is living & active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul & of spirit, of joints & of marrow, & discerning the thoughts & intentions of the heart. 1 Thess 5:16-18Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you! Matt 6:9-13 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  ….  deliver us from evil. Eph 6:12  (HCSB) For our battle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. — Our prayers are our Battle Cry & His word is our Sword. We have everything to defeat our enemy! Believe & trust God! Love Mel

There is No Other Name by Which We Can Be Saved

John 6:68(ESV) Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Acts 4:12 Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” 1John5:11-12 And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, & this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. — Peace, Joy, Strength & Health are His gifts. Ours for asking! As we crave the spiritual things, the earthly things begin to pale by comparison! As our fears & worries depart, there is more space for Him to rush in! We are to fear not! We must seek our refuge with Him so that He can allow His gifts to find their home within us! Don’t forget He said, By His stripes, we were healed! That is past tense! Open up your heart & let Him in! Love Mel

Finding Grace

Finding Grace! Eph 2:8-9 (ESV) For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, & this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Hebr 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy & find grace to help in time of need. John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace & truth came through Jesus Christ. Eph 4:7 Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:— Finding Grace starts with Jesus Christ and is provided for the purpose of Serving others! — Matt 23:11 The greatest among you shall be your servant. Matt 25:21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good & faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’— This is what we all seek, “Well Done” my good & faithful! Love Mel

He Became Sin for Us that We Might Become Righteous

James 1:19-20 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21 For He (God)hath made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. James 3:17-18 The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, & easy to be intreated, full of mercy & good fruits, without partiality, & without hypocrisy. 2Peter 1:5-7 (NKJV)For this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness & in your godliness, brotherly kindness, & in yourbrotherly kindness, love.— Our pursuit of righteousness is to seek Him who knew no sin, pursue the gifts of the spirit, continually seek His wisdom, faith, virtue, self control, perseverance, kindness & love. No matter what DON’T EVER Give Up! Love Mel
