Acts 9:1: The Conversion of Saul to Paul

Acts 9:1 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out threats of murder against the Lord’s disciples. Acts 9:5-6 Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. Now get up & go into the city, & you will be told what you must do.” Acts 9:15-16 Ananias “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles & their kings & to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” — Saul’s Damascus Road Experience went from Breathing out threats to Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! From killing the Lords Disciples to Making the Lords Disciples! This is the same transformation He wants for us, that is to Breath out Life & not Death, & to spread the Gospel! We each need to keep watch over what we say & do! It is so easy to fall into the enemies trap! —Prov 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil; He who watches his way preserves his life. Psalm 19:14 May these words of my mouth & this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock & my Redeemer. — Love Mel

Exodus 12:21-23: The Lamb of God Who Takes Away the Sin of the World.

Ex 12:21-23 Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel & told them, “Go at once & select for yourselves a lamb for each family, & slaughter the Passover lamb. Take a cluster of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin, & brush the top & the two sideposts of the doorframe with some of the blood. None of you shall go out the door of his house until morning. When the LORD passes through to strike down the Egyptians, He will see the blood on the top & the two side posts & pass over the door; so He will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses & strike you down. Isaiah 26:20 Go, my people, enter your rooms & shut your doors behind you. Hide yourselves a little while until the wrath has passed. —Passover/Easter—Very Different This Year— A lot like it was in the beginning! They were locked in their home as the death angel passed over! So is true this year, that is everyone is locked in their homes, waiting for the evil virus to pass! This is a virus that steals the breath from its victim! As scary as this is, we are all in this together! As the family of God, there is still one thing that we can do, even if we are not together & that is to pray! Pray that this evil is stopped! Remember God lead them out of Egypt & He will lead us out of this darkness! Trust Him! He cares for us, enough to always be with us & never forsake us! BELIEVE! He is risen! Love Mel

Tabernacles

From Bill Part 3 — The fall festivals (7th month) are yet to be fulfilled and this is mostly outlined in Revelation. So, we see an annual cycle representing redemption (Passover) in the first month; provision (Pentecost) in the 3rd month, and presence (Tabernacles) in the 7th month. Each of these were or are foreshadowing events which our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) has accomplished or still must accomplish. This is rehearsed every year with God’s annual festival cycle. This is God’s calendar and while we are not under the law for righteousness, it seems prudent to acknowledge God’s special days in some way as you are led. Have a Blessed Resurrection Sunday! Love Mel

Pentecost

From Bill Part two—Pentecost (or the Feast of Weeks) begins 50 days after Passover and represents God’s provision. It is when the law was given at Sinai shortly after they left Egypt, and when the Holy Spirit was given to believers after Jesus’ resurrection. Finally, we see the 7th Biblical month starting with Trumpets announcing the return of the King, Atonement which will allow Israel to repent, and Tabernacles when God will rule and reign from Jerusalem for 1000 years. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits

From Bill Part 1–Today is the first full day of Passover. Jewish people celebrated the Passover meal last night at twilight. Thus begins the 7 day Feast of Unleavened Bread. Gods annual cycle began at sundown 25 March when the month of the Aviv, the first Biblical month, began. This month celebrates the Passover on the 14th day (yesterday), the Feast of Unleavened Bread which lasts 7 days starting with Passover and the Feast of First Fruits, which is in the middle of that week. Jesus fulfills the Passover and Unleavened Bread as Gods perfect and sinless lamb sacrificed for us. First Fruits was fulfilled by our Lord when He went to heaven after resurrecting and anointed the Most Holy place with His blood. –Love Mel
