John 6:29: The WORK of God is to BELIEVE.

John 6:29 Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.” Romans 15:4 Everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance & the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope. Hebr 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebr 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists & that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. 1:Cor 13:13 Now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 John 4:8 This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one & only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. — His Love is the heart beat of our Faith! Let it beat, stronger & stronger! Love Mel

Revelation 3:19: He Reproves Those He Loves So Be Zealous and Repent

Rev 3:19 Those whom I love, I reprove & discipline, so be zealous & repent. Psalm 103:13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. — We are designed to be zealous to do good! The negative things of this world are designed to take this zeal for life out of us! It is a fight against evil! —Eph 6:11-12 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, & against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 1 Tim 6:11-12 But you, O man of God, flee from these things & pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, & gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.— Our God is a good God, who pursues us! Let’s be zealous in return, the benefits are out of this world! Love Mel

Isaiah 43:16: Do Not Dwell on The Past, God is Doing a New Thing

Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Ex 17:6 Behold, I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb; when you strike the rock, water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel. Psalm 78:16 He brought streams from the stone & made water flow down like rivers. — We serve a WAYMAKER! Where there appears to be no way, our God is well able to make a way for us! Is promises are new everyday! Never doubt Him! Just ask Him for help! —Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, & He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD! — He is our strength in the storms of life! Love Mel

Matthew 11: The Kingdom of Heaven Suffereth Violence

From Bill —Today is the celebration of VE Day. Victory in Europe in WWII. From Wash Post 1945. “The phone on Gen. Omar Bradley’s bedside table rang at 4:45 a.m. He sat up and turned on the light. Outside, under his command, more than 1 million American soldiers were fighting their way across northwestern Europe. Bradley’s boss, Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, was on the line, calling from his office in Reims, France. “Brad,” Eisenhower said. “It’s all over.” Nazi Germany had surrendered at 2:41 a.m. The tragedy of World War II in Europe had ended. It was May 7, 1945, seventy-five years ago today. “This is a solemn but glorious hour”, said Truman. “General Eisenhower informs me that the forces of Germany have surrendered to the United Nations. The flags of freedom fly all over Europe. “For this victory, we join in offering our thanks to the Providence which has guided and sustained us through the dark days of adversity. Our rejoicing is sobered and subdued by a supreme consciousness of the terrible price we have paid to rid the world of Hitler and his evil band,”! The message? Sometimes we have to work hard and pay a great price for the victory God has for us. Matt 11 tells us “And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Claim and speak your scriptural promises and trust in God as you spiritually fight the forces of darkness that come against the will of God. — Love Mel

Are you looking for your purpose in this life or your purpose in His plan! It is only natural for We were created by God! —1 Cor 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? We are made to desire but how many look to the world to fill those desires! He lives inside us & He wants to lead us! Why! Because He knows the beginning from the end & He knows what is best for us! — Rom 8:28 We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. — Whose purpose? Our purpose must be His purpose! —Eph 1:11 In Him we were also chosen as God’s own, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything by the counsel of His will. —Don’t forget it is all about His will! He really does care about us & He is bringing us thru the waters of this world into His heavenly kingdom! So always seek Him, because He knows the way! Love Mel
