Jesus was called Master & yet He had no slaves! He was the most faithful servant, yet they all turned their back on Him! He was referred to as Teacher, yet He had no diplomas! They called Him the healer, & yet He accomplished it without any medicines! He was known as King of the World, yet He reined in peace! He overcame evil, & yet He never killed! They crucified Him & yet He never committed a crime! He lives today & yet they buried Him in a tomb! He is the greatest man that ever lived & left us with an awesome guide book to show us the way to a better life & many resist His way! Let’s celebrate our freedom in America today remembering all that He has done & focus on His words not the worlds! Have a Blessed 4th of July. Celebrate knowing He died that we might be free! That is the only way to a better life! Love Mel
Romans 6: Exercise the Gifts God Has Given You
Romans 6:”6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.” Exercise your gifts that God has given you. Look for the opportunities rather than waiting for them to appear for you. Remember, the man or woman diligently seeking Gods will, will be run over by the one doing it (Bonnke). The Bible teaches salvation is a gift, but heavenly rewards are a result of your efforts. What is it that you were made especially for by God almighty. Psalm 139 says “13 for You formed my inmost being;a You knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well. 15 my frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.”
2 Peter 3:8-9: The Lord is Long Suffering Not Willing That Any Should Perish – Take Action Now
2 Peter 3:8-9 Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, & a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance. Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore He rises to show you compassion, for the LORD is a just God. Blessed are all who wait for Him. Romans 13:12 The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. — Wait for Him, for withHim comes the blessing of His light! It beats darkness everyday! Love Mel
Isaiah 43: DO NOT FEAR Because We Are His
This world wants us to be afraid, but God! —Isaiah 43:1 Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine. 2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power & of love & of a sound mind. Isaiah 35:4 Tell everyone who is discouraged, Be strong & don’t be afraid! God is coming to your rescue.. 1Peter 3:14 If you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. — And the best of all, is that no amount of fear can separate us from His Love! —Romans 8:38-39 I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. Love Mel
Isaiah 40:29-31: He Gives Strength to the Weary and Increases the Power of The Weak
Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary & increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired & weary, & young men stumble & fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run & not grow weary, they will walk & not be faint. Gal 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Psalm 33:20-22 We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help & our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone! — No matter the circumstances, put your hope in God! He will see you thru the fires of this earth! Never ever give up! That is what the enemy is hoping you will do! If you are feeling weary, seek God, for He will strengthen you! Love Mel
