1 John 3:8: Whoever Practices Sin is Not of God

1 John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. — Satans work is to tempt us to sin, to ensure our final destruction, but Jesus paid the price so that our sin no longer has the stronghold of spiritual death! That is, —when we repent & move away from our sins! We can do this when we seek God! —John 12:31-33 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die. Matt 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness, & all these things will be added unto you. 1Tim 4:8 For physical exercise is of limited value, but godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for the present life and for the one to come. — Now you know what holds true value in this world & the next! Matthew 18:2-4: The Humble Enter The Kingdom of God, Be Like the Little Children

Matt 18:2-4 Jesus invited a little child to stand among them. “Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change & become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Mark 10:13-15 Now people were bringing the little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, & the disciples rebuked those who brought them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant & told them, “Let the little children come to Me, & do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”…—Have you ever pondered why we strive so hard to make life so difficult? We try so hard to be grown up, so afraid that someone will have more, or just plain old envy & jealousy! When all the time, we should all be striving to be have the innocence of a child! Laugh a little, play a little, sing a little, & love a lot! Do everything you can to save yourself from self! Humility is key! Love Mel

Luke 23: Remember Me Lord When You Come Into Your Kingdom

Luke 23:41-43 We (the thief on the cross) are punished justly, for we are receiving what our actions deserve. But this man (Jesus) has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, REMEMBER ME when You come into Your kingdom!” & Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise. Psalm 106:4-5 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation. Num 10:9 When you enter into battle in your land against an adversary who attacks you, sound short blasts on the trumpets, & you will be remembered before the LORD your God & delivered from your enemies. — Say it after me, JESUS REMEMBER ME! Psalm 18:2: The Lord is Our Protector, Our Strong Fortress, Our Shield and Defender

Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my protector; He is my strong fortress. My God is my protection, & with Him I am safe. He protects me like a shield; He defends me & keeps me safe. 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Matt 6:9-13 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. —Yesterday I asked for everyone’s thoughts about the Kentucky Pastors YouTube video. The replies started with scary, frightening & ended with the direction to put our trust in Jesus, pray, pray, pray & do what you can to prepare! But never let fear have a foothold! We must remember Who’s we belong to & cling to this, knowing & believing that He will be with us thru the fires of life! It is HIS FAITHFULNESS that is our shield from evil! Love Mel

Exodus 19:5: If You Obey Me You Will Be My Special Treasure Says The Lord

Ex 19:5 Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice & keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. Deut 31:8 The Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. Have you ever wondered what God thinks when He looks at the earth & the people He created? — Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Are you persuaded? —Rev 21:3-4 Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, & He will dwell with them, & they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them & be their God. & God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. — One day it will be righted, ALL of it! Love Mel
