Psalm 112: The Man That Fears The Lord

The man that feareth the Lord shall be blessed. Psalm 112 “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. 10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.” Fearing God is good because it helps us stay on the right path and to obey. Fearing God does not just mean awe and respect, it also means we need to obey Him or risk the chastisement of God as His children. He whom He loves, He chastiseth. Better to avoid this 😁. Fear God and keep His commandments, and we will be established.

Isaiah 1:18-19: If You Are Willing and Obedient…

Isaiah 1:18-19 “Come now, & let us reason together, says the LORD. Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool. If you are willing & obedient, you will eat the best of the land. — Our God reasons with us! That is the good news & His reasoning is one of grace & mercy–‘Repent, & be forgiven”! — Isaiah 43:25 I, yes I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake & remembers your sins no more. — And He does it because He cares for us! —Isaiah 44:22 I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud, & your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. — He is a redeeming God! Redeem meaning, He paid the price for our sins with His own blood! We are redeemed, that is worth shouting about! Hallelujah! Love Mel

Ephesians 1:5: We Are Adopted Into Gods Family Because of Christ’s Sacrifice

Eph 1:5 God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, & it gave Him great pleasure. Rom 8:15-17 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father”. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, & if children, then heirs—heirs of God & fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. —We have been adopted by our Father in Heaven & He is always waiting patiently with His arms wide open! We are His heirs! — Matt 5:16 Therefore, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works & give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Phil 2:14-15 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked & twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. 1 Peter 5:8: The Devil Prowls Around Like a Roaring Lion seeking Who he May Devour.

1Peter5:8 Stay alert! Watch out for your enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1John4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1John5:4 Because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith. —The enemy works overtime to destroy our hearts, & to break our spirits! But we serve a God that is bigger than all that!! As long as we remember WHOs we belong to, then we will overcome! Keep the faith!! Love Mel

James 1:5: Ask God and He Will Give You Wisdom.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, & it will be given him. James 3:17 The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy & good fruits, impartial & sincere. Prov 18:19 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, & the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Prov 15:3 The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, & humility comes before honor. Matt 7:24 Everyone then who hears these words of mine & does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. —Wisdom is the ability to know what is true, right & lasting! To know God & trust Him is wisdom! With Humility comes wisdom, & our acknowledgement of our dependence on Him! With this there is no greater wisdom! It is here where The Rock becomes our foundation, & we become unshakable even in the tough times! Know that He loves us & promised to NEVER LEAVE US or FORSAKE US! Love Mel
