Eph1:16-20 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, In order that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom & revelation in your knowledge of Him. I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, & the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead & seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms. — Enlightenment means “To illuminate with divine knowledge, or a knowledge of the truth”! spiritual enlightenment is one of the few things that can satisfy the human longing for immortality & purpose. To put it plain, we humans have a void within that can only be filled with God’s love! Love Mel

2 Sam 16:12 Perhaps the LORD will see my affliction & repay me with good for the cursing I receive today! — Perhaps! —Romans 8:28-29 We know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. 2Cor 4:15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is extending to more & more people may overflow in thanksgiving, to the glory of God. Acts 13:48 When the Gentiles heard this, they rejoiced & glorified the word of the Lord, & all who were appointed for eternal life believed. — Perhaps, Yes indeed When we believe! — Rom 11:29 For God’s gifts & His call are irrevocable. — Now we should be overflowing with thanksgiving just at these words from the Lord! Lam 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Micah 7:18-19 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, & passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. Jer 9:24 Let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands & knows Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises loving devotion, justice & righteousness on the earth–for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — We serve a merciful God! Who is a good Father, filled with love, kindness & compassion! — Psalm 100:5 Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting …” — something that is worth believing in! Love Mel

2 Peter 1: “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” The Lord chose us and we responded. Let us examine ourselves to make our calling and election sure.

1 Cor 8:6 Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things & for whom we exist, & one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things & through whom we exist. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. 1Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Peter 1:1 To those who have been allotted faith equally precious as ours in the righteousness of our God & Savior, Jesus Christ. 1Peter 1:6-7 “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials so that the authenticity of your faith— more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire— may result in praise, glory, & honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” — Our faith tried by fire is more precious than gold! For we only see & believe by faith! Faith is the one commodity that has been given to us by God! It is the one commodity that we should work to increase! —Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, & hearing through the word of Christ. Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith”. — So we should be working, striving to increase our faith. It is worth more than gold! Love Mel
