Proverbs 16:15: The Favor and Face of God

Prov 16:15 In the light of a king’s face there is life, & His favor is like the clouds that bring the spring rain. 1Chron 16:11 Seek the Lord & His strength; Seek His face continually. Psalm 27:8 My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek. Psalm 105:4 Seek out the LORD & His strength; seek His face always. —The Hebrew word “face” is translated “presence”! God’s presence is manifested thru our relationship with Jesus Christ! — Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.— Looking for JOY? It is found seeking His face! — Matt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. — He loves it when His children seek Him. Love Mel

Mark 12:30: Love God With All Your Heart and Your Neighbor as Yourself

Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart & with all your soul & with all your mind & with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Luke 10:29-37 He, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “& who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, & he fell among robbers, who stripped him & beat him & departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road, & when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place & saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, & when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him & bound up his wounds, pouring on oil & wine. Then he set him on his own animal & brought him to an inn & took care of him. & the next day he took out two denariic & gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” & Jesus said to him, “You go, & do likewise.” — Real Love! We really need more of this today! Love Mel

Ephesians 2:10: We Are God’s Workmanship Created to Do His Will

Eph 2:10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. Psalm 139:13-14 For You formed my inmost being; You knit us together in our mother’s womb. We will praise You, for We are fearfully & wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, & that our soul knows very well. Eph 1:4 For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy & blameless in His presence. In love. Titus 2:14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness & to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. — We were created for good deeds, not evil! To love & not hate! To live to do good works as His workers! To live for Him, must be our way of life! A life that is zealous to do good! Love Mel

James 1:12: If You Remain Steadfast Under Trial You Receive The Crown of Life

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Matt 25:21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good & faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master. 1Cor 3:8 He who plants & he who waters are one, & each will receive his wages according to his labor. Matt 6:6 When you pray, go into your room & shut the door & pray to your Father who is in secret. & your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Phil 2:13 For it is God who works in you, both to will & to work for His good pleasure. — Trials are part of this life! God works thru us, & in this world using our prayers! It is said that we can be pitiful or powerful, but we can’t be both! When we put His will first, we will accomplish more than we could ever dream or hope! This is where we will find the best He has to offer! Don’t forget His Best is out of this world! PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! Love Mel

Ephesians 1: May the Eyes of Your Heart See Your Inheritance in Christ

Eph1:16-20 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, In order that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom & revelation in your knowledge of Him. I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, & the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead & seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms. — Enlightenment means “To illuminate with divine knowledge, or a knowledge of the truth”! spiritual enlightenment is one of the few things that can satisfy the human longing for immortality & purpose. To put it plain, we humans have a void within that can only be filled with God’s love! Love Mel
