Self test! First off remember that we all will always struggle with sin throughout our lives according to Romans 7. Fear not. Salvation is not reversible! If you are His, you will always be His. What are some evidences that we are His? What do you love, hate, and long for? The Holy Spirit will give us: a desire for repentance; a hatred of sin; joy in trials; a desire to be a slave of Jesus; a delight in scripture; a longing for obedience; a love of fellow believers and of fellowship; a love for and inclination to prayer; a desire for praise; a heart of thanksgiving and an illumination of truth.
Galatians 5:1: Stand Firm in the Faith
Gal 5:1 Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then & don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery. 1 Cor 16:13 Be alert. Be firm in the Christian faith. Matt 11:28-29 Come to Me, all you who are weary & burdened, & I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you & LEARN from Me; for I am gentle & humble in heart, & you will find rest for your souls. Mark 4:38-40 Jesus was inside the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The followers went & woke him. They said, “Teacher, don’t you care about us? We are going to drown!” Jesus stood up & gave a command to the wind & the water. He said, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, & the water became calm. He said to his followers, “Why are you afraid?” —The only place we truly find rest is by learning from Jesus.
