Momentary Affliction Prepares Us For Eternal Glory

2Cor4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. — God tells us not to lose heart, “no matter what”! Because “no matter what” is preparing us for our heavenly rewards! What does a glimpse of eternity look like? First just looking at the meaning of eternity, “infinite or unending time”. Kinda like infinity in math! So forever, we have an amazing future, if we will learn to —2 Cor 5:7 We walk by faith, not by sight. — That is when we learn to seek first the kingdom of God & His will, we can do all things thru Christ that strengthens us! It is here where our heart is strengthened & we find our way thru this world to eternity! We must focus our heart on our creator, here we will achieve more for eternity than we ever could achieve in this world. Love Mel

Ephesians 3: If We Only Knew How Much God Loves Us, We Would Rejoice.

Ephesians 3:14,17-19 . . . I bow my knees to the Father . . . that you, being rooted & grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, & length, & height, & depth, & to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Another version —Eph 3:16-19 I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. — To know the love of Christ to all fullness of God, himself! Now that is really something to know! This is the true riches of His glory! That is to truly know Him! All I can think of is BIG FAITH, which equals BIGGER LOVE! Hallelujah! Love Mel
