From Bill— In John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” —Is Jesus the only way? I watched a video clip of a famous TV personality stating “there is no way He is the only way, it simply cannot be”. So what’s the answer? Aside from Jesus saying He was the only way, we may reckon as follows: the Creator of the universe was made into a lowly human man & lived 32 or so years on this wretched earth at a time when there were no comforts or safety to speak of. While here, he was tortured, brutalized, shamed & mocked by professional torturers & the supposed religious people. My question is simple: “if I can be saved by praying to a rock, then why in the world would God have chosen the cross for Himself”? —Matt 24:11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.” —Jesus is the only way. Jesus plus nothing = everything. —2 Cor 5:19 says “that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, & has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”— Jesus said that He was the way, the only way & He meant it! 2 Thess 2: 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Q: Is the gospel you believe able to get you through to the end of times? The Bible says many terrible times are ahead, as I am sure we can see as true. You must know the true gospel to sustain you when the bad times come. Examples of false gospels which WILL DISAPPEAR when the trouble comes: The “Jesus plus something” gospel. The “me” gospel. The “Health and Wealth” gospel. The “It’s OK to sin gospel”. The “Go to Church” gospel. The “Spiritual Experience” gospel. The “nothing bad will ever happen” gospel. The truly saved will be given the power to endure to the end. It is not your perfection, but it is your direction. Put your humble trust in Him no matter what happens, and He will get you through to the end. — 2 Thes 2:13 We are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit & belief of the truth. John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace & truth came through Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. —Truth always prevails! Love Mel

Form Bill— Romans 5:10: “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” —The 28th of Sep, also the 10th day of the seventh Hebrew month, Tishri, is the Day of Atonement. It is the most holy day on the Hebrew calendar, & was the day the High Priest sacrificed for the sins of the people. A fast was commanded on that day. What does it mean to us? Everything! Read the top verse again. On that day, we celebrate that Jesus is our High Priest, Who is right now doing what is required in the heavenly temple so that our sins are constantly forgiven. There will come a time when He leaves that place to return for His bride, and to make atonement for the Jewish nation who will “look on Him Who They pierced” and repent. When the temple was torn down in 70 AD, the Jews stopped sacrificing animals replacing it with good works, prayer & charity. However, blood has always been required for the remission of sins. Christ is doing that for us all now in heaven if we trust in Him. The Day of Atonement, as well as Trumpets & Tabernacles are yet to be fulfilled in the final sense… principally for Israel. Celebrate the day, because He has paid the price for our sins. We are forgiven! PTL Love Mel

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Jer 17:14 Heal me, O Lord, & I shall be healed; save me, & I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Psalm 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, & You healed me. Psalm 106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, & gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, & to triumph in thy praise. 1 Chronicles 16:35 Then cry out: ‘Save us, O God of our salvation; gather & deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise. — what does it mean to glorify & praise God? This leads us to examine our daily intent, “Do we do what we do to please God or man? — John 12:43 …for they loved glory from men rather than glory from God. — Jer9:23-24This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, nor the strong man in his strength, nor the wealthy man in his riches. But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands & knows Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises loving devotion, justice & righteousness on the earth, for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — He really did create us for a relationship with Him! This is accomplished thru our praise & with this praise comes triumph! With triumph comes glory! Now that is worth boasting about! Love Mel
