Do Not Be Afraid

There is a movement of God now to take back the countries and areas of the earth that have long been under Satan’s influence. Powers and principalities are mentioned all through the Bible as hindering Gods plan or ruling over regions. This is most clear in Moab and Egypt. It was also clear with the giants at Mt Hermon.

The uprisings we have seen and are seeing around the world, to include this country are for two reasons. Demons are running scared as they see the power of God manifesting – and conversely as the power of God is manifesting, we see people getting “fed up” with corruption and fraud.

So, as you see unrest growing, do not be afraid. As an example, some fear that if a certain person wins the election here, there will be violence and chaos, and they conclude they would be better off if that did not happen. The point they miss is that such fear-based manipulation will never stop if it sees ANY success. Such tactics will always be used to gain the desired result if they are met with the desired result.

So, do not be afraid. Realize you are fighting from a position of strength. If you are a Christian you do battle by praying to God and by speaking His word. You can declare and decree – BY THE POWER OF THE KING OF KINGS JESUS CHRIST – that evil is being exposed and defeated in your life and in the issues about which you are concerned.

There is no doubt, as the Apostle Paul told us, that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities and rulers in the heavenly places. Do not fear them. God has given us dominion over them IN HIS NAME.

Pray without ceasing and declare the word of the Lord. No weapon formed against the church of God and His people will prosper.

He Commands His Angels to Guard Us.

Psalm 91:11-12 (ESV) For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Matt 4:6 and (Satan) said to him (Jesus) “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”Matt 4:11 Then the devil left Him, and angels came and ministered to Him. Dan 7:10 A river of fire was flowing, coming out from His presence. Thousands upon thousands attended Him, and myriads upon myriads stood before Him. The court was convened, and the books were opened. — He does in fact command the angels! He does command them to guard us in all our ways! It is up to us to choose to follow Him! When we do, just look at the protection we have access to! I choose to follow Him! Love Mel

Watch God Do What He is Famous For

The lyrics of a popular Christian song at the time of this writing is “do what you are famous for”. There are so many amazing things God has done that it would be impossible to capture them all in this blog entry. Here is one of my favorites.

Assyria had defeated the Northern Kingdom of Israel and taken them captive or killed them. Shortly thereafter they came to the area surrounding the Southern Kingdom of Judah and laid siege to it to destroy it and take the people captive.

The words of the king of Assyria sent by messenger to King Hezekiah of Judah. 2 Kings 19:11 Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered? 12 Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar? 13 Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivah?

Hezekiah’s prayer. 2 Kings 19 (KJV) 14 And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. 15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubim, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. 16 LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. 17 Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, 18 And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore, they have destroyed them. 19 Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.

The result. 2 Chron 32 (KJV): And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven. 21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So, he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword. 22 Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side. 23 And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.

There were times in the Bible when God called His people to fight. Sometimes when things were so bad and they were so outnumbered, God just told them to stand still and hold their peace and watch God work. A classic example of this is Exodus 14, when the Pharaoh was pursuing the Israelites to destroy them. Moses tells them:

Ex 14 (KJV): 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. 14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

The rest is history.

When faced with trials, pray with all of your might to God almighty. Do what He tells you to do and believe that He is with you to save. Sometimes you just need to stand and watch, because the enemy is just too powerful for you – BUT NOT FOR OUR GOD.

I write this at the time of the 2020 election.

Phil 4:6: Worry About Nothing – Pray About Everything.

Phil 4:6 (ESV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. — How about it? —1 Kings 8:28 Yet have regard to the prayer of your servant & to this plea, O LORD my God, listening to the cry & to the prayer that your servant prays before you this day, Psalm 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; & the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. — The answer to our worry is in the prayers & willingness to lift up our hands to heaven! In the Twinkling of an Eye He Will Return for Us – Be Ready and Be Thankful.

1Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, & the dead shall be raised incorruptible, & we shall be changed. 1Thes 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, & with the trump of God: & the dead in Christ shall rise first: — With Thanksgiving Day tomorrow, I Pray that all reading this will have a most blessed day! Being thankful for all that He has blessed us with! Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your wonderful plan of redemption. Thank you for all that are reading this, may they find Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they be filled with gratitude, & may You pour out your mercy & kindness! Please protect us from the evil that is around us & all who oppose your words! May your love fill this earth to overflowing so that the enemy is frightened! In Jesus name. Amen. Love Mel
