Psalm 136:26 Give thanks to the God of heaven, for His steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 95:2 Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise. Col 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. Be thankful. Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor & slander be put away from you, along with all malice. — Did you ever ponder that there is no room within for bitterness, or fear with thankfulness! You see bitterness is a form of bondage, while thankfulness is a form of freedom that releases us from bondage. He tells us to get rid of theses things (bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander, & malice)! He knows what we need to be the best us we can be. Maybe it is time to trust Him. Love Mel
Do Not Fear – Pray and Meditate on The Word
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Phil 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. & the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts & minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise & dominion for ever & ever. Amen — Do you trade worry, anxiety or fear? Does worry, fear or anxiety have more power than God’s promises? How much time do you spend focused on these things? Especially when you could spend that time meditating on God & His promises! We really need to remember that we are forgiven & He really does love us so much that we can let go & let God. Love Mel
For God So Loved Us That He Gave His Only Son to Save Us
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. —God sent His son, our sacrifice, for us. — Eph 5:2 .. Christ loved us & gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering & sacrifice to God. —Jesus, our savior, gave it all for us. — John 14:26 The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things & will remind you of everything I have said to you. — The Holy Spirit, our teacher, comes to teach us. —1 Cor 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple & that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? Romans 8:14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.— We are His! So feel free to call Him father! For He is a good father, always making a way for us! Love Mel
He Hath Perfected Us Forever By His Sacrifice
Hebr 10:14 (KJV)For by one offering He (Jesus) hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. —“A person is sanctified, when he or she lives according to God’s design & purpose” —Paul tells us in 2Cor7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh & spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. — So how can we be holy in such an unholy world? First we must put our life in His hands & trust that He knows best! We allow Him to work out our daily salvation, continuing to trust that He will deliver us from all evil. The key being “trust & obey” knowing that He knows what is best for us & always believing that He will save us no matter what is going on in this world. Love Mel
Be Ye Transformed By The Renewing of Your Mind
Hope you had a chance to watch the YouTube sermon I sent yesterday. Below is a summary. Romans 12:2 (ESV)Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. 2Cor10:4-5 (KJV)For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Col 3:2 (ESV) Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Phil 4:8 (ESV)Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. — Our lives move toward our thoughts that is why it is so important to meditate on Him & His ways. The outcome will always be better than we can even hope or imagine. Love Mel
