The Power of God

Psalm 147:5 (ESV) Great is our Lord, & abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 40:8 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. 1 Cor 6:14 God raised the Lord & will also raise us up by His power. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. — Never underestimate the power of our God! Love Mel

Treasures in Heaven

Our eternal home! 1Cor 2:9  It is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him”. Phil 3:20 Our citizenship is in heaven, & from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 5:1 For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Matt 6:19-20 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth & rust destroy & where thieves break in & steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys & where thieves do not break in & steal. Col 3:2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 2 Cor 4:17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. — We are in training, being prepared for our eternal home in heaven. As long as we are on earth, we have the opportunity to do good, love mercy & walk humbly before our God! So what are some of the ways we can build treasures? We should consider, obeying God, praying for others, witnessing the truth of His Word, serving others in the Name of Jesus. Building in the name of Jesus. Love Mel

The Power in Jesus’ Name

Eph 6:12 (NIV) Be strong in the Lord & in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world & against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Isaiah 43:11 I, yes I, am the LORD, & there is no Savior but Me. James 2:19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—& shudder. Luke 4:35 “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all & came out without injuring him. Col 2:15 He disarmed the rulers & authorities & put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him(JESUS).

How to dismantle spiritual attacks, Strongholds such as anxiety, fear, depression, oppression, etc can be brought down with the weapons of God! First remember there is NO other name but JESUS, even the demons tremble! So don’t be afraid to use the Name that is above all names, JESUS. Remember He didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love & a sound mind! Declare His Name over it all! You will see the enemy shudder! Love Mel

Peace

Psalm 37:7 (ESV) Be still before the Lord & wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his own way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me & heard my cry.  Micah 7:7 As for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Lam 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.  Isaiah 40:31 They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run & not be weary; they shall walk & not faint. — Waiting may be one of the most difficult tasks that we can encounter. But if we can do it in His peace! As the farmer waits for his harvest! Good things take time to grow, we must remain in peace, trusting God to develop the harvest that He promised even when things are difficult or uncertain. Put IT at His feet & believe what He promises. You will be thankful that you did. Love Mel
