The Paramount Importance of Love in the Kingdom of God – The Game Changer

1 John 4:9-10 This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one & only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us & sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 Cor 13:13 Now these three remain: faith, hope & love. But the greatest of these is love. Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. — It is all about Love! His Love. How many of us look for love/acceptance in all the wrong places such as people, job, money, drugs, liquor, sex, religion, food, etc. All the while that God wants us to look to Him! After all He is our creator. — 1 John 4:16 So we know & rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, & God in them. — His love is greater than anything on this earth & it is the thing that brings us to eternal life. All the rest is fake news! Love Mel

Do We Serve God or Mammon?

2 Tim 3:1-2 Realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy. Matt 23:25 What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law & you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup & the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed & self-indulgence! Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. — Did you know that selfishness actually dethrones our God, for our own selfishness. We can’t serve God & Mammon. Are you really willing to sacrifice everything for His purpose? It’s a test! —James 1:3-4 For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. & let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect & complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him. — Loving God is what it is all about! & The result is “The Crown of Life”! St Patrick’s Day. Who Was He?

Have a Blessed St Patrick’s Day! Did you know that St Patrick was stolen from his Nobel family & taken to Ireland as a slave. Escaping after 6 yrs & returning home, he became a clergy only to be called by God to return to Ireland bringing Christianity to his captors. He is regarded as the founder of Christianity in Ireland. St Patrick’s Day is in honor of a man that brought the gospel to a group of people! How awesome is that! God promises beauty from our ashes. He promises to bring good from our hardships! Now this is worth celebrating! Love Mel

Are You Setting Yourself Apart Unto God or Wasting Your Potential?

From Bill —Are you living a sanctified life? If so there is power in it. “Those who are led by the spirit of God are sons of God”. Or are we of those who “do what is right in their own eyes”? As humans we have been given free will as a gift from our creator. If we submit our will to Him & act as His agents on earth we are achieving our highest & best purpose. If we are following our own rules we are roque agents, not really guaranteed to reach our potential. Those who submit to God & follow Him can use His word to bring change into the world. They can pray the will of God & participate in His plans. When you act on Gods behalf through submission, your life will count. When you follow your own path, you will ultimately “inherit the wind”. Jesus said, “Those who love me, keep my commandments & are loved by My Father”. If the enemy has tricked you into following the way of the world, it is never to late to repent & get back with God. For His ways are way better! Trust Him! Love Mel

All Scripture is Inspired by God and Thoroughly Equips Us for Every Good Work

2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God & profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, & for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 1 Tim 5:8 If any provide not for his own, & specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, & is worse than an infidel. Prov 26:2 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. — Family can be one of Gods greatest gifts when He is allowed to flow thru each member. He provides a way where there seems to be no way. When one is down another can lend a helping hand, for two are better than one alone. We must learn to help one another, for this is truly of God! Following His ways lead to a much better future than anything this world has to offer! Love Mel
