God Has Put Satan Under Your Feet by His Power – Leave him there

Gen 3:14-15 The LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, & above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, & dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: & I will put enmity between thee & the woman, & between thy seed & her seed; he shall bruise thy head, & thou shalt bruise his heel. Eph 1:22 God hath put all things under His feet, & gave Him to be the head over all things to the church. Romans 16:20 The God of peace shall crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. —We are fallen & in need of a savior! Every time we look to the world to find a savior, it always falls short! God wants us to look to His son. That is why His son appeared bigger than life itself! That is why, God put satan on the ground as a serpent, beneath the feet of Jesus. — Psalm 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. — Keep looking up & set your mind on Him above. It is the only way! Love Mel

Be Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test & approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing & perfect will. Eph 5:10 Test & prove what pleases the Lord. Col 1:10 So that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord & may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. — Our walk is to be pleasing to Him. He cares! You all know by now that we are not perfect & without Him we will never be perfect. But when we put our faith in Jesus, we become perfect thru what He did! Praise God. So hold on to your faith! That is saving faith! —Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him.”— Love Mel

The Gospel in a Nutshell

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth with everything perfect. There were no pandemics, no death, no disabilities, no wars, no crime, no hate, etc. Then our ancestors rebelled against the creator and sinned… and ever since then we live in a broken world, looking forward to uncertainty and eternity without God. But God didn’t leave us in that condition. He gave His Son Jesus as a sacrifice for our sin. Jesus paid a debt He didn’t owe, because we owed a debt we couldn’t pay. When we believe in Him & surrender our lives to Him, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to grant us eternal life in Jesus. Thats the gospel in a nut shell. We need only believe in Him with a willing heart & accept His provision. Love Mel

He Chose Us Before the Foundation of the World

Eph 1:4 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love. James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. —How often do we look at what Christ did for us, with the thought, well He was “God”. But what if we consider that at the same time, He was a man! The pain would have been unbearable. So He sacrificed His life for us to have eternal life. What are we willing to turn from that He might be glorified in us as we choose to live for Him! After all it is our choice! Let’s choose eternal life over this one! No matter what, we can choose for Him everyday! Choose Love! For God is Love. Love Mel

The Passover Lamb

From Bill & Melanie John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, & saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. —Passover in the Old Testament pointed to Christ as the Lamb. Nissan 10, 4 days before Passover, is the day the rabbis brought in the lambs for passover. It is also the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem… also celebrated as Palm Sunday. WOW! Each year the sequence of festivals begins with Passover. Christians may also celebrate the festival as it represents the delivery from our sins. Jesus paid the price, His body & His blood was shed for us. By partaking of the Passover symbols of bread & wine, we are proclaiming our continual faith in Jesus’ sacrifice & our freedom from sin. There is so much meaning in the festivals as the Bible story ties together perfectly. Love Mel
