Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; & in his law doth he meditate day & night. & he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; & whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. — When we choose our Gods ways over mans ways we will find His blessings! We must always remember that mans so called blessings are always shallow & unfulfilling, but the blessings that come from God are eternal. Choose God! Love Mel
Fear Not
John 14:29 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. — When we are willing to trust Jesus, we find peace! Always remember that fear is from the enemy! With Jesus, we can overcome our fears. —Remember yesterday’s scripture Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. And don’t forget, 2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love & sound mind. —Always remembering, 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. — So let’s get rid of all fear & remember He is always with us! For God is LOVE! Love Mel
The Importance of Passover!
Every year God begins His prophetic cycle anew. It starts in the spring with Passover. Passover is a three in one celebration consisting of Passover, The Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the Feast of First Fruits. It goes into summer with Pentecost which is a solo feast, and it ends in the fall with Tabernacles. Tabernacles is a three in one feast also consisting of the Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement and finally the Feast of Tabernacles. The Bible tells us that Gods new year starts at Passover – the 14th day of the “first month.” And doesn’t it it really feel like a new year after we celebrate Passover and the resurrection? The year feels fresh as we receive the promised blessings of this time of year and we prepare to embark upon what God has for us in this new year and cycle. Passover is also the celebration of the barley harvest in Israel. It is the celebration of the death angel passing over the Israelites and it is the celebration of Jesus’ sacrifice as our Passover lamb. It is a time of redemption and entering into the family of God. As we again begin our annual journey as redeemed persons, let us be willing to share the blessings of belonging to the family of God – with others.
He Has Conquered Death, Hell, and The Grave for Us
2 Cor 1:9-10 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, & He will deliver us. In Him we have placed our hope that He will yet again deliver us. — Whether we know it or not, we are in such a state that we can not recover – that is – without Him. He is the answer to our delivery from our permanent demise. There is a death sentence on our life. But He has set us free from the final blow of the enemy! His death led to His resurrection, which conquered death and opened the door to us! Rejoice! Love Mel
Let’s Make God Our Primary Passion
Where’s your passion? Acts 17:11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Hebr 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists & that He rewards those who seek Him. — Some words to consider “Eagerness”, “His Workmanship”, “Good Works”, “Believe”, &”Seek”! Do you seek Him with all Eagerness? Do you do Good Works with all Eagerness? Do you Believe with all Eagerness? This one word Eagerness brings with it that we must pursue our God! That is with all diligence! Love Mel
