The Greatest Among Us Will Be The Servant

John 15:8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit & so prove to be my disciples. Matt 23:11 He that is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matt 20:26 It shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your servant. Mark 9:35 If anyone wants to be first, he must be the last of all & the servant of all. Luke 22:26 You shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, & the one who leads like the one who serves.— Did you know that we were all created for His glory & to serve! How many people believe they are called to be a leader, but struggle when they find out that it means you are a servant! When we give it up to Him, we find out true leadership finds how to bring people to the feet of Jesus without being center stage! This is the place of the greatest glory! Servants are always more pleasing to God! Jesus was a servant! Love Mel

Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God

Eph 4:21-24 (KJV) If so be that ye have heard him, & have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; & be renewed in the spirit of your mind; & that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness & true holiness. — Our most important purpose is to become Christ like, because apart from Him the old self is full of deceit & corruption! All that said, we must choose to put on the new & discard the old! This is the only way for a true conversion. For we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is why it is so important to seek first His Kingdom, for it is by Him that we can ever achieve His likeness! Those who seek after the world will no doubt become more & more like the world! I beg you to seek Him first because He is eternal & the world will one day come to an end! Love Mel

In His Presence is Fullness of Joy

Rom 15:13 (KJV)Now the God of hope fill you with all JOY & peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. 1 Peter 1:8 (ESV)Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him & rejoice with JOY that is inexpressible & filled with glory. Psalm 16:11 (ESV)You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of JOY; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. John 15:11 — In life, is your JOY lacking! Well, “Fullness of JOY” is to be one with the father! This is the glow on Moses face when he came down from the mountain top after his meetings with God! If we seek His presence we will find that “Fullness of JOY”! Remember when we draw closer to Him, He will draw closer to us. Love Mel

Be a Doer and Not Just a Hearer of His Word

A quick word from James – the brother of Jesus. James 1 (KJV)
“19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” Be a doer of the word. Nuff said.

The importance of FAITH

Matt 21:22 (ESV)Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have FAITH. Rom 10:17 FAITH comes from hearing, & hearing through the word of Christ. 2 Cor 5:7 We walk by FAITH, not by sight. Mark 11:22 Jesus answered them, “Have FAITH in God.” 2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the FAITH. — The Bible tells us that the righteous shall live by FAITH. Satan likes to use fear to get us to question our faith! However, he doesn’t completely understand that Adversity is God’s most effective tool to develop our strong FAITH. So I say to you all, no matter what is going on, keep the FAITH. Love Mel
