Our Father Who Art in Heaven Hallowed Be Thy Name

Luke 11:1-2 (all KJV) It came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. & He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Matt 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Luke 19:38, (They came saying) Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. “God’s will” will be done or the stones will cry out! So, Why not just agree & pray it as Jesus taught us! Love Mel

Pursue Righteousness, Faith, Love and Peace

2 Tim 2:22-25 (ESV) Flee youthful passions & pursue righteousness, faith, love, & peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, & they may come to their senses & escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. — God tells us to pursue righteousness, faith, love, & peace. We must above all things avoid all bitterness! God grants us repentance, because He doesn’t wish any to perish. Truth is the key to overcoming the lie. Don’t ever forget Satan is the father of all lies. To truly know the truth, we must get it from God & His word! Love Mel

God Grants Repentance as a Gift. Do Not Delay When Prompted – Be Thankful.

Acts 11:18 (all KJV) When they heard these things, they held their peace, & glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. 2 Tim 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; — Have you ever considered that God’s granting us the opportunity to repent of our sins is a gift? —1John1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins, & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness & worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, & godly, in this present world; — if you are prompted to repent and seek Gods mercy DO SO IMMEDIATELY. Do not take His kindness for granted. It is not offered without limit. Gods grace is undeserved, unmerited favor! So from that point His acceptance of our repentance is a gift! Praise Him! Love Mel

Resentment or Repentance – You Choose (hint: Repentance leads to life)

2 Chron 7:14 (all KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, & turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, & will forgive their sin, & will heal their land. 2 Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety nine just persons, which need no repentance. — God wants us to seek repentance. Satan wants us to hold to resentment. Repentance leads to eternal life. Resentment leads to death. Repentance leads to freedom. Resentment leads to bondage! Which will you choose? Let’s humble ourselves & repent God’s way! Love Mel

Let Us Praise the Lord With Music and Dance

Psalm 149:3 (all KJV) Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel & harp. Psalm 150:4 Praise Him with the timbrel & dance: praise Him with stringed instruments & organs. Ex 15:20-21 Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; & all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances & Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for He hath triumphed gloriously; the horse & his rider hath He thrown into the sea. 2 Sam 6:14 David danced before the LORD with all his might; & David was girded with a linen ephod. Zeph 3:17 The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing. — Being joyful, dancing, making music is all part of the celebration of our God. Praise Him with your joy! Love Mel
