Don’t Worry or Be in Fear – But Pray!!

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts & your minds in Christ Jesus. Psalm 5:12 (NLT) For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love. WAIT and Trust!

Wait on the Lord! —Lam 3:25 (ESV)The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Psalm 37:34 Wait for the Lord & keep His way, & He will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off.  Isaiah 40:31 They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run & not be weary; they shall walk & not faint. Psalm 33:20 Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help & our shield. — What does it mean to WAIT?  First we must WAIT Patiently trusting in Gods Promises. For here we find our help in time of need. A real place of rest during trouble times! — Psalm 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, & in His word I find hope. 1 John 5:14 This is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. Cast Your Care

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Matt 6:26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, & yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? & not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.  Luke 12:7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.  Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! — Our God cares for us! We are valuable to Him! If He had a refrigerator we would be on it! How awesome! Praise Him! His Peace will follow! Love Mel

Receive the Call

John 20:29 (NIV) Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen & yet have believed.” John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.  1 Peter 2:9-10 You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. —  It’s so easy, Believe in Him, Receive the Call to be Children of God, Praise Him  & Receive His Mercy! His Mercy opens the door to Forgiveness and reconciliation with God! His Mercy is the foundation of our Salvation! How amazing is that! Love Mel

That Old Rugged Cross

With Resurrection Sunday on the horizon I believe it is all summed up in a special song,  “The Old Rugged Cross”

1 On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,

The emblem of suff’ring and shame,

And I love that old cross where the Dearest and Best

 For a world of lost sinners was slain. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

Stanza-

I will cling to the old rugged cross,

  And exchange it some day for a crown.

2 Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,

  Has a wondrous attraction for me;

For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above,

  To bear it to dark Calvary.

3 In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,

  A wondrous beauty I see;

For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,

  To pardon and sanctify me.

Amen! Much blessings your way! Love Mel
