1 Cor 1:26-31 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low & despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human beingd might boast in the presence of God. & because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification & redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” John 9:1-3 As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. & His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. — God works all things to His Glory! We may never fully understand what God is up to, but one thing is for sure & that is His promises. We must continue to believe that ALL things are possible with God & He is our strength thru it all. He said that in this world there would be trouble, but to be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! We have an enemy that roams around looking & we must be ready at all times to do battle! Please add my brother Dennis to your prayer list. Pray for complete healing & protection from the enemy. He fought thru Leukemia, & now has been diagnosed with Aphasia. Aphasia is a brain issue! Many have it following a stroke. He knows what he wants to say but can’t find the words! They believe his is due to all the meds from fighting cancer! Thank you so much.
