Jesus gave us a command! —John 13:34-35 (ESV) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. — So what does that mean? —John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. — Jesus showed us a willingness to sacrifice for & repair relationships! —1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us. —His willingness to sacrifice His life for us & He repaired our relationship with God! We too must be willing to sacrifice & repair! Loving one another is truly the greatest thing we can do on earth as His Disciple! — Col 3:14 Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 1John 3:16 By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, & we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
