We must overcome all PRIDE—Rom 12:16 (ESV) Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Rom 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. Matt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Prov 19:11 Good sense makes one slow to anger, & it is his glory to overlook an offense. 2 Peter 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge. — Did you know that it is building virtue to overlook an offense & it brings glory! And all this supplements our faith! Look at the response of Jesus! —1 Peter 2:23 When He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting Himself to Him who judges justly. — We too must continue entrusting ourselves to our God, for you will inherit the kingdom of heaven!
