Eph. 4:30(ESV) Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 1 Thess. 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit. —Matthew Henry’s Commentary, “All lying, and corrupt communications, that stir up evil desires and lusts, grieve the Spirit of God. Corrupt passions of bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil-speaking, and malice, grieve the Holy Spirit.” —This world is so far from this! Every TV or Movie is filled with filth! So how do we accomplish this? We must look at the scripture around verse 19!— 1 Thes 5:16-22 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
