Isaiah 25:4 (KJV)For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Isaiah 32:2 A man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, & a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. — In life there are many adverse circumstances & so many times we stand without the ability to withstand the battering of the storms. In Prov 18:10 it tells us that, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, & is safe.” —Psalm 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, & a strong tower from the enemy. Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, & he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.—When the storms of life rage around us, we are safe; hidden in the secret place of His love.
