(Verses from ESV) Faith & Reason — Hebr 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. — We are to never reason in opposition with our faith. Faith comes from hearing the word of God, & our reasoning comes from Gods word. Both are gifts from God, to be used to honor Him. — 1 Peter 3:15 In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
