From my brother, Dennis today. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014, which changed his life! Below is a devo from him! —“I have shared this before and I feel led to share again! When cancer raised its ugly head in my life everything changed.. I sold my business and had no idea what the future held for me….I wasn’t sure whether I was going to live or die?? The chemo they gave me kills EVERYTHING, good cells and bad…. So your body takes a beating!!! There was a battle going on inside my body and a battle going on outside too… I finally realized, I couldn’t when this battle on my own. So I reached out to the one who was waiting, our Savior!!! I repented for all my sins, and turned my life over to him….It was by far the best decision I ever made.. My sister gave me a coin with a bible verse on it … It tells just a little of what Our Lord Almighty did for me…. Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on the wings of eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint… He gave me another opportunity at life!!!
