Isaiah 43:1-2 Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; & when you go through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, & the flames will not set you ablaze. Dan 3:19-20 Nebuchadnezzar was filled with rage, & the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego. He gave orders to heat the furnace seven times hotter than usual, & he commanded some mighty men of valor in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego & throw them into the blazing fiery furnace. Dan 3:22 The king’s command was so urgent & the furnace so hot that the fiery flames killed the men who carried up Shadrach, Meshach, & Abednego! — The flames killed those that were not redeemed! But the ones that were protected by God, did not even smell of smoke! We too are called by God & with a willingness to follow Him, we can withstand the flames of life!
