Thankfulness – The Key to Breakthrough.

From Bill —Bill Johnson says this was his breakthrough point to move into the miraculous. Rabbi Schneider says this is the first of seven key points for a truly effective Christian walk. Though it sounds simple, it is a key to victory, it helps us avoid mental illness and depression, and helps us walk in strong faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says what hundreds of other verses say: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks IN (not necessarily for) all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Bill Johnson was thankful whenever anything good happened, but it was not until his precious father died, and he offered thanks and praise anyway, that he received the key to supernatural breakthrough and greater victory. I too have found that upon waking I am often plagued with troubling thoughts. Refusing those thoughts and giving thanks changes your day. When thankfulness overflows, faith grows and peace fills. Even in the darkest of times, we can praise God for his love, his sovereignty, and his promise to be near us when we call (Psalm 145:18). At that point you realize trials develop you to become what He wants you to be. You cannot be defeated. Watch how it transforms you. Refuse to do anything else except to be thankful. Love Mel
