Waiting on The Lord

2 Sam 5:23-24 (ESV) “When David inquired of the LORD, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, & come against them opposite the balsam trees. When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the LORD has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” — We must always wait for the Lord to go out before us, for this is where the victory is found! — Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run & not be weary; they shall walk & not faint. —When we wait, we are renewed, that is made like new! Let’s do life Gods way! The result is far better & the rewards are out of this world! Love Mel

Do Justice Love Mercy Walk Humbly

Micah 6:8 (ESV)He has told you, O man, what is good; & what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, & to walk humbly with your God? Ez 36:26 I will give you a new heart, & a new spirit I will put within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh & give you a heart of flesh. Rom 12:9-10 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Prob 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, & do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, & He will make straight your paths. —God wants a relationship with us. God wants to come in and give us a new heart & a new spirit! Love is the key! Hate evil & hold to good! Trust God & He will make our paths straight. Love Mel

Show Me Your Glory

Ex 33:18-23 (ESV) Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” Psalm19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God, & the sky above proclaims His handiwork. 1 Cor 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the Glory of God. Hebr 1:3 He (Jesus) is the radiance of the Glory of God & the exact imprint of His nature, & He upholds the universe by the word of His power….John 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the Glory of God?” Psalm 57:5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! —  Show me your glory Lord was Moses prayer! The Hebrew word for glory is kavod (כָּבוֹד), which primarily means weight, honor, or splendor. It can refer to the presence of God, His attributes, or the praise & honor given to Him. Moses was searching for more of Gods Presence! Jesus is His presence that we can look upon! God connects His glory to us thru His Son Jesus with His Spirit that lives on the inside of us! Quote: Mercy is new.  com, “So, how do you define glory? It is the essence of God & it is so good (holy, righteous, full of justice, wrath, and love) that too much of it will kill you. So, handle it with caution!” Love Mel

The Importance of The Holy Spirit

Zech 4:6 (ESV) …. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Acts 1:8 You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, & you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, & in all Judea & Samaria, & to the ends of the earth. Eph 3:16 That according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being. Rom 15:13May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. — Have you ever tried so hard & come up short? Many times in life we try, try & try again only to get frustrated, lost, saddened, or heartbroken! If you study these scriptures & many more like them in the Bible to see that so many times  it really takes the power of the Holy Spirit working thru us.  Remember in Phil 4:13 (BSB) I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength. —We can do so much more when we have Him in our boat! John 21:6 He(Jesus) told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, & you will find some.” So they cast it there, & they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish. — Love Mel

He Redeems Us

Psalm 71:23 (ESV) My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. Psalm 103:4 Who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love & mercy. Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us… Job 19:25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, & at the last He will stand upon the earth.  Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from trouble. — So Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so, For His steadfast love endures forever!
