That Old Rugged Cross

With Resurrection Sunday on the horizon I believe it is all summed up in a special song,  “The Old Rugged Cross”

1 On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,

The emblem of suff’ring and shame,

And I love that old cross where the Dearest and Best

 For a world of lost sinners was slain. So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

Stanza-

I will cling to the old rugged cross,

  And exchange it some day for a crown.

2 Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,

  Has a wondrous attraction for me;

For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above,

  To bear it to dark Calvary.

3 In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,

  A wondrous beauty I see;

For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,

  To pardon and sanctify me.

Amen! Much blessings your way! Love Mel

Who Seeks After The Lord

Ez 34:11 For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep & will seek them out. Psalm 14:2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Jer 29:13 You will seek me & find me, when you seek me with all your heart.—Our doubt doesn’t keep Jesus away! He is always searching for us! He is always knocking! —Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; Love Mel
