Praise and Thanksgiving – Worship
Worship with gratitude! —Hebr 12:28 (ESV) Therefore let us be GRATEFUL for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, & thus let us offer to God acceptable WORSHIP, with reverence & awe. Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! — If there is one character in the Bible that understands worship it is David! For Our Gods steadfast LOVE endures forever! — Psalm 50:23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies Me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God! — 1 Cor 15:57 Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. — He gives us victory! Love – The Most Important Thing
Col 2:7 (NLT) Let your roots grow down into Him, & let your lives be built on Him. Then your FAITH will grow strong in the truth you were taught, & you will overflow with thankfulness. Eph 2:8 (ESV) For by grace you have been SAVED through FAITH. & this is not your own doing; it is the GIFT of God. Gal 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only FAITH working through LOVE. 1John 4:7-8 (ESV) Beloved, let us LOVE one another, for love is from God, & whoever loves has been born of God & knows God. Treasure in Heaven is The Best Kind!
The heart of God is to save us! & you could add “from us”! You might ask, “What do you mean by that?” In this world, we have become so overcome by its treasures! However, the Bible tells us that we are to build treasures in Heaven! So I would ask you to consider, do you have earthly possessions or do they have you? Well here is the true test, — Matt 13:44 (ESV) The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found & covered up. Then in his joy he goes & sells all that he has & buys that field. — December is truly a month of giving! We must remember that this is really our time to show love for God & one another! He showed us His love while we were still sinners! So we have the same opportunity to give this kind of love to those around us! Will you open your heart & give even in the pain & hurt? He is a master potter & He can repair our cracks, but only when we give our vessel to Him. Remember ALL things are possible in His hands! We must learn to LOVE like Him!
