Eph 2:8 (ESV) For by grace you have been saved through faith. & this is
not your own doing; it is the gift of God. 1 Thes 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Col4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. —His Grace gives us the POWER to overcome the trials sent our way from the enemy! Our works are not the POWER but a merely action on our part. We must always give the glory to God by being thankful for His Grace.  Thankfulness takes the sting out of something sent to harm us from the enemy! But when we learn this truth we can overcome the hard times. Rejoice Always! Love Mel

Rom 12:2 (ESV) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable & perfect. Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. —Sin violates God’s design for our life! Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed! What we believe & do opens the door to heaven or hell! It is all about our choices! 
When you are lonely, lacking resources, lacking attention, lacking stamina or whatever you believe you are missing out on in this world you can seek it out or you can seek God out. God tells us to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven & all these things will be added! How many seek first the world only to end up on the shorted list! There are so many lessons in scripture! If only we could get them into our spirits! Pray, Pray, Pray is the only answer or you will keep making the same mistakes over & over. Love Mel

1 Sam 16:7 (ESV) The LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.  Luke 16:15 So He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is prized among men is detestable before God. 2Chron 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to & fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Matt 6:22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. — Always remember it is ALL about the heart! Keep your eyes & your heart on Him! Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 1Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Mal 4:2 For you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall! — There is a right place to put your fear & it is in the Lord! For all things placed in His hands are made perfect! Love Mel

Love God & Love one another! This is what we were created for! We must never forget that! 
Matt 22:37-39 (ESV)He (Jesus) said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul & with all your mind. This is the great & first commandment. & A second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  Matt 5:43-44 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies & pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. Luke 6:27 I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Luke 6:35 Love your enemies, & do good, & lend, expecting nothing in return, & your reward will be great, & you will be sons of the Most High, for He is KIND to the ungrateful & the evil. — We are to be KIND too!
