How to get closer to God in such a loud world? —Jer 29:13 (NIV) You will seek me & find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “& will bring you back from captivity. Prov 8:17 “I love those who love me, & those who seek me find me.” Psalm 145:18 (ESV) The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. John 14:23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, & My Father will love him, & We will come to him & make our home with him. —So we must distance ourselves from whatever is distracting us. Lay aside whatever we are prone to delight in more than Him. Spend our time Seeking Him, Calling on Him, & spend time in Prayer. Prayer is our love language to God! It is the one thing Jesus spent doing during His ministry & it is the one thing the disciples asked Him to teach them how to do! Pray About Everything
Phil 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by PRAYER & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Rev 5:8 (ESV) When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures & the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, & golden bowls full of incense, which are the PRAYERS of the saints. Psalm 141:2 Let my PRAYER be counted as incense before you, & the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice! — Our PRAYERS are as incense to God. — 2 Cor 2:15-16 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved & among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. — Never ever stop PRAYING! The Kingdom of God!
THE KINGDOM —Mark 1:15 (ESV) “The time is fulfilled, & the kingdom of God is at hand; repent & believe in the gospel.” Rom 14:17 (ESV) For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating & drinking but of righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Spirit.
Matt 6:33 ( ESV) Seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness, & all these things will be added to you. —Repent, Believe, find His Righteousness & you will find Peace & Joy! — Matt 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. — We find the Kingdom on earth when we choose to do His Will!And this is Heaven on earth.
Luke 10:9 Heal the sick in it & say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ Matt 12:28 if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 1 Cor 4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. Matt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. It’s all part of His Kingdom! Run to the Light
Psalm 119:105 (ESV) Your word is a lamp to my feet & a light to my path. John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” 1 John 1:7 If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. —Our darkest hour becomes light when we turn to Him with YES Lord! For when we allow Him to become our guiding light there is NO darkness that will be able to overtake us! For 1 John 1:5 tells us that God is light & there is no darkness in Him! & 1:7 says that we are cleansed from ALL SIN! Recommend that we run to the light! Love Mel
