Psalm 46:1 (NIV)God is our refuge & strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. — He even tells us in, Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) I will strengthen you & help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Prov 15:8 (BSB) The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight. John 4:24 (NIV) God is spirit, & His worshipers must worship in the Spirit & in truth.— Let’s all spend some time worshipping Him in spirit & truth! I believe it will build strength! Love Mel

Eccl 11:3 (KJV) If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth… — When the clouds are full, then according to laws of nature, which man cannot alter; the rain is irreversible, & should be expected & endured. —John 16:33 (KJV)These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV)Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.— Have you ever heard the saying when it rains it pours! The  enemy prowls around! —2 Cor 4:17 (ESV)For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. We actively empower the enemy when we believe his lies! We must never forget that he is the father of all lies, who goes about as an angel of light! Our God is the Father of truth! If we can learn to trust Him in all things we will overcome the liar! — Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong & courageous. Do not be frightened, & do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Prov 20:7 The righteous who walk in integrity— blessed are his children after him! 2 Tim 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power & love & self-control. Reasoning! —Mark 8:14-17 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf. & He charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, & of the leaven of Herod. & they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. & when Jesus knew it, He saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? — Reasoning led the disciples to a lack of understanding & maybe even hardening of their hearts! —Isaiah 1:18 (ESV) Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. 1 Peter 3:18 In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness & respect. — We must learn to trust God & lean not on our own understanding, acknowledge Him in ALL our ways & He will forgive us! Matt 7:24-25 (NIV) Jesus: “Everyone who hears these words of mine & puts them into practice is like the wise man who built his house on a solid rock. The rain came down, & the water rose, & the winds blew-hard & beat against that house; yet it did not fall! Why? Because it had its foundation on the rock. Prov 10:25 Storms can blow away unrighteous people, but the godly have a foundation that keeps them standing firm.  —Being able to sail against the wind enable you to sail anywhere. Life is a lot like sailing, we must learn to sail against the winds of life! Standing firm in the presence of strong winds is key to a successful journey! It is all about foundation!
