Pursue Him! 2 Peter 1:3 (ESV) His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life & godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory & excellence, by which He has granted to us His precious & very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 2 Peter 1:2 Grace & peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God & of Jesus our Lord.— Gods purpose for our life is discovered during our journey thru life! It is truly learning to live as close to Him as possible! We have this ability available thru Jesus Christ His son! The veil has been torn! We now have before us eternal life & godliness thru His divine nature as we draw near to Him in knowledge! This knowledge is an intimate knowing as we draw near each & everyday thru our loving pursuit after Him! Becoming a person after His heart! Love Mel
Do All to the Glory of God
1 Cor 10:31 (ESV) So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Col 3:17 Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Col 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. —Whatever we do, we should be doing to the glory of God! So many times we have all these ideas, but when we finally take a minute & truly find God! Now that is truly where you want to be! For in this place with Him, it is easy to give Him the glory! If you’ve ever done something that you didn’t quite have it all figured out, & then God showed up & showed out! Oh what an amazing time! I promise you will never be the same. The Salt of the Earth
Matt 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out & trampled under people’s feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp & put it under a basket, but on a stand, & it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works & give glory to your Father who is in heaven. —We are meant to be the salt & light of this earth! We can’t be this when we carry offense, anger, bitterness etc! Don’t forget the BE attitudes! God is trying so hard to get us wisdom while satan works to keep us from it! Don’t let the offenses of this world stop your blessings! Remember we wrestle not with flesh n blood but with principalities of darkness! Put Away Bitterness, Wrath and Anger
Eph 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor & slander be put away from you, along with all malice. James 3:14-15 If you have bitterness, jealousy & selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. —Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Offense’s, bitterness, anger, clamor, & slander. We must get rid of this stuff from our hearts! We must return to our pure hearts! We do this by trusting God in all matters. While we continue to do what we know is the right thing! This is where Gods blessings lie! Be kind to one another! Love Mel
The Lord Will Direct Our Paths
Psalm 139:2 (NKJV)You know my sitting down & my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. Isaiah 66:18 “For I know their works & their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations & tongues; & they shall come & see My glory. Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, & My thoughts than your thoughts. — God’s gracious offer of pardon, peace, & happiness. It shall never be in vain to seek God! For it is His word calling to us, & His Spirit striving with us.
