Ez 36:26 (NLT) I will give you a new heart, & I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart & give you a tender, responsive heart. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Acts 15:9 He made no distinction between us & them, for He cleansed their hearts through faith. Matt 5:8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. —Heavenly Father please clean our sinful, stony, stubborn, self-centered hearts and replace them with new loving, kind, truthful hearts through Your faith! Renew loyal spirits within each of us that we might glorify You on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thank you for our New Hearts! Defeat the Enemy With the Word of God
Psalm 56:3-4 (ESV) When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord & in the strength of His might. — We have an enemy that we must fight with all our might! We must not give up! Everything the enemy uses is meant to get us to give up! We must remember that our God promised that if we resist the enemy, he must flee from us! The righteousness of Christ is our breast plate, & the sword of the spirit is the word of God! So everyone, pick up the Bible & use it to defeat the enemy! It works every time. Love Mel
Pray and Worship
Rom 12:12 (ESV) Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Phil 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 1 Thes 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.—Did you realize that God’s will for us is to pray without ceasing! Also, prayer is our way to meet with the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Great I AM, the Creator of ALL things! One of the most important assignments for each of us on this earth is to pray & worship Him! And don’t forget, do it with thanksgiving in your heart! Love Mel
Armor of God
Eph 6:10-11 (ESV)Finally, be strong in the Lord & in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, & he will flee from you. 2 Cor 12:9 (NIV)He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.—Our weaknesses can become cracks in our armor! Where do you think the enemy directs his attacks? We must use our shield of faith by turning to God for the healing needed to remove these cracks that are used by the enemy. Unity and Harmony
John 10:30 (KJV)I & My Father are one. John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in Me, & I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent Me. —The father son & Holy Spirit enjoy so much unity that they were willing to lay down their life for us to experience the same unity! — Eph 4:3 (NLT) Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.. Eph 4:13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith & knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full & complete standard of Christ. — Know the enemy works so hard to bring division among & between us! Don’t forget Jesus said in John 10:10 (NIV) The thief comes only to steal & kill & destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, & have it to the full. So it is time to find His peace, let go of all anger & offenses; they are only the tricks of the enemy that are put in place to trip us up! Lean not on your own understanding, trust in God!
