1 John 3:1 (NIV)See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! & that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Psalm 103:13 (ESV)As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. Mal 2:10 (ESV)Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers. — What does it mean to be faithful? Faithfulness means steadfast loyalty that isn’t easily swayed. —Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is a confidence in what we hope for & assurance about what we do not see.” — In this world if you choose to become a dependable, loyal and trustworthy person, people will notice! We must stay the course of faithfulness if we want to serve Christ! There is no other way! A faithful father is one that is consistent with a willingness to be faithful & true! Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People
So often you hear the question, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?” First thing that is forgotten is that — Rom 3:23 (ESV)For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Ecc 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good & never sins. — Some things we know! — Rom 8:28 We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. — Sometimes it’s to help others! —2 Cor 1:3-5 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies & God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. — Finally don’t forget —Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways & My thoughts than your thoughts. —Never forget it is all about His will!
