Never Give Up!

John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. Rom 8:37 (ESV) In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. — Who or what shall separate us from the love of Christ? Do you agree with Rom 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. — We must remember that our God is the same yesterday, today & tomorrow, so if you want to overcome the world, then stick with Him! Suffering Makes You Stronger! Rejoice Always

Rom 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, & we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, & endurance produces character, & character produces hope, & hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. — We are to rejoice in hope! Where does our Hope come from? —Psalm 62:5-6 Yes, my soul, finds rest in God; my hope comes from Him. Truly He is my rock & my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken. Rom 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. — It is clear that our Hope comes from HIM! So rejoice! Love Mel

Don’t let Life Distract You from Your Purpose!

Nehemiah 4:1 (ESV)Now when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry & greatly enraged, & he jeered at the Jews. Neh 4:7 When Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, & the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem was going forward & that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry. Neh 4:8-9 They all plotted together to come & fight against Jerusalem & to cause confusion in it. & we prayed to our God & set a guard as a protection against them day & night. — the enemy wants to stop the work of God! —Nehemiah 6:3 I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work & I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?” — The word here is to push thru the obstacles that come against us to stop our good works! Don’t Stop! Remember perseverance is a virtue. Love Mel

God is Close to the Broken Hearted

Matt 5:4 (ESV) Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Psalm 34:18 (NIV) The LORD is close to the brokenhearted & saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 56:8 (NLT)You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 107:20 (BSB) He sent out his word & healed them, & delivered them from the pit. Rom 8:18 (ESV)For consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. — The Bible tells us that God is close to those who are broken-hearted! He even collects their tears! He gives us hope, courage, & eternal life! He promised to NEVER Leave us or forsake us! He even asked us to leave our burdens at His feet & swap for a lighter yoke with Him. That is good news! Love Mel

Run TO The Lord After Failure – not away from Him

1 Sam 16:14 (ESV) Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, & a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him. Acts 13:22 (ESV) When He (God) had removed him (Saul), He (God) raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified & said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after My heart, who will do ALL My will. — Have you ever considered the difference between Saul & David or Judas and Peter? Saul and Judas disobeyed God and ran away from Him rather than towards Him, which resulted in tormenting spirits. Both essentially committed suicide. David and Peter sinned grievously but repented and sought God and were forgiven and restored and became men willing to do ALL His will! We too can choose to do the will of God or our own will. —Mark 3:5 For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother, sister & mother.  Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable & perfect. Prov 11:5 The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness. 1 Thes 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. — Believe, be humble and thankful, Repent, Do Good, Seek God, & obey! Not our will, but to the “I AM”  that created us! Love Mel
