The 23rd Psalm reference, When the Lord is our Shepherd, He makes us to lie down in green pastures! In todays age this is so hard for us! We are going in so many directions & doing so much in each day! Are we really willing to allow Him to direct our path? Have you ever chosen a path that you just knew it was Gods will only to end in a big mess! Or results were opposite of what you thought would be Gods will? This world is so noisy it is almost impossible to hear from God! We must learn to draw near to Him & the Bible tells us that He will draw near to us! We must learn to listen for that still small voice! It is here that we will hear from God! Love Mel

James 3:13-18 (ESV)Who is wise & understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitterness, jealousy & selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast & be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where bitterness, jealousy & selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder & every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy & good fruits, impartial & sincere.  & a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. — Did you know that bitterness & jealousy are wisdom from satan? These things open the door for the enemy to operate! When they come it is time to get on your knees! Repent immediately! Get rid of it quickly because it will destroy you! Love Mel

John 14:9 (ESV) Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, & you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father….. John 1:14 The Word became flesh & dwelt among us, & we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace & truth. John1:16-17 For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace & truth came through Jesus Christ. — Jesus is the expression of God the Father! Do you see it? The full expression is in His grace & truth! For it is stated in John 8:32, “you will know the truth, & the truth will set you free.” John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. — It is all woven in the words! His freedom & grace; thru the truth! Love Mel

Deut 31:8 (ESV) It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Ex 13:21 The LORD went before them in a pillar of cloud to guide their way by day, & in a pillar of fire to give them light by night, so that they could travel by day or night. Deut 31:6 Be strong & courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. — We must be encouraged from just knowing that our God has promised to NEVER LEAVE US or FORSAKE US! We must celebrate this promise! For our God is trustworthy! Love Mel

Romans 12:12. (ESV) Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. —To Hope means, “To trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone; or to expect something beneficial in the future.” — We are to Rejoice in this Hope! Seriously, as Christians we have so much to be joyful about! —Be Patient meaning, “the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.” — We are to Be Patient in tribulation! This is a hard one, but if we as Christians know our future, we can rejoice & if we are constantly praying, we should easily find patience in tribulation! Remember His peace is always available for us! — Be Constant meaning, “a firm steadfast resolution or faithfulness: exhibiting constancy of mind or attachment.” — We are to Be Constant in prayer! During our tribulation we will no doubt be in prayer, so it is best just to stay there for it is here we find our Hope! Love Mel
