James 4:1-3 (ESV) What causes quarrels & what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions (lusts) are at war within you? You desire & do not have, so you murder. You covet & cannot obtain, so you fight & quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask & do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions (lusts). James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST the devil, & he will flee from you. — YIELD to what God has determined necessary for our welfare in this life, & our salvation in the life to come. What does it mean To YIELD? It means to surrender, to submit, to give way, to give up or relinquish possession of! Most people would rather die than surrender, or give up! How strong is the bondage that engulfs us everyday? It is so strong that our God had to put His only son on the cross to die a gruesome death to save us! RESIST means To stand against; to withstand; to obstruct. To strive against at all cost; to endure! We must learn to YIELD to GOD by RESISTING evil! Are you up for the game? Choose YES by trusting GOD! Love Mel

Hebr 11:1 (ESV)Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Romans 8:24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? Hebr 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world & became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. — If God asked us to build an ark, would we do it? Faith! Do you have it? — Mark 11:22 Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.” —If He said it, we can trust Him! Looking for assurance, you will find it in FAITH! Don’t forget, —Hebr 11:6 (BSB) Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Love Mel

Eph 6:12 (ESV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. — Under attack? Put on the full armor of God & pray! — Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Eph 6:14-18 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, & having put on the breastplate of righteousness, &, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; & take the helmet of salvation, & the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer & supplication. James 3:14-16 (KJV) But if ye have bitter envying & strife in your hearts, glory not, & lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth NOT from ABOVE, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying & strife is, there is confusion & every evil work. —Bitterness & Jealousy are from the enemy, that is why we must resist it with our whole being!  They will only become strongholds in our lives if we don’t get rid of them. Also remember Indifference is not the answer to hate! Love is the only response that covers our sins! — Think on these things… Phil 4:8 (ESV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. — Love is truly the only answer! Phil 2:12-16 (ESV) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in My presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear & trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will & to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless & innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked & twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.  — We are to be lights in this dark world! His light will work to bring truth to a broken & perverted world, when we open our hearts to work out our own salvation with fear & trembling! Love Mel
