1 Tim 6:12 (ESV) Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called & about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go & prepare a place for you, I will come again & will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. Rev 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, & the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass—When times get tough it is easy to give up or give in, but God may want us to fight the good fight of faith! Let’s not forget what we are fighting over! On the earth, the fight is over who can become the wealthiest, but I am fully a believer that just to know GOD is far above any earthly wealth that can be obtained! Don’t forget that they are essentially fighting over pavement! Where as to know God & on a path to eternal life far outweighs any earthly gain we could ever achieve! This Thanksgiving, spend time thanking Him, that He chose us to know the truth & to believe! When it’s all over, we have a mansion to go to! Love Mel
He Gives Us Hope
Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD; for He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, & He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — In this world we will have trouble, here we find God urging us to seek Him. It is here we find His encouragement which consists of the knowledge of his ability & willingness to heal our wounds. We must believe in Him, for here is where we find a hope that is greater than we can truly understand. It is real! A love that is beyond this world’s understanding. Love Mel
