John 8:12 ( all KJV) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me should not abide in darkness. Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, & a light unto my path. Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, & glorify your Father which is in heaven. — Benjamin Franklin decided to take a different approach to lighting the city. He built a brighter lamp & placed in front of his house for people to see as they passed. Franklin’s lamp shone cleaner & brighter than all the old street lamps. Within a few months, the city started replacing the old lamps with the new Franklin built lamp. From his experiment Franklin uncovered a powerful truth: suggestions nor arguments are never as powerful as good examples.— Let’s be those good examples of today & shine brighter for our Lord. Luke 11:1-2 (all KJV) It came to pass, that, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. & He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Matt 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Luke 19:38, (They came saying) Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. “God’s will” will be done or the stones will cry out!
