For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. — In today’s world, we have “A selfie”, which is a self-portrait photograph, taken with a digital camera or smartphone. Now that tells you a lot about today’s society, if that is not enough, read the list & you will see it all, if you turn on the news just for a minute! Our God clearly gives us instructions— TURN AWAY! If we can know that the enemy prowls around looking for whom he may devour & know that his tricks are just that tricks to lead us astray! If we can put our trust in God & believe that He knows what is best, then we can become the overcomers we were meant to be. Love Mel
