The Dedication to God of Anna the Prophetess Caused Her to Be Mentioned in The Word of God

Luke 2:36-37 (KJV) There was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, & had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; She was a widow of about fourscore & four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings & prayers night & day. — Now that is true dedication, to never depart from the house of God, while worshiping Him day & night! — Luke 2:38 She (Anna) coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, & spake of him (Jesus) to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. — Now what an honor, to truly know & be able to recognize the awaited Messiah! She had such a special walk with God in the spirit, that she knew Him even as a babe! — Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, & ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. — Now that is real living! Love Mel

We Are No Longer Enslaved to Sin

Romans 6:6 (ESV) We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace. — Are you free from sin? Romans 6:6 says we are free! While Ephesians 1:7 says we have been redeemed by His blood! We must believe before we can experience His freedom! BELIEVE! Love Mel

Put on the Whole Armor of God

Why are we so weak & at the mercy of evil? — Eph 6:10-17 (KJV) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, & in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, & having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, & having put on the breastplate of righteousness; & your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. & take the helmet of salvation, & the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: — We merely feel like this because we are looking to our own strength instead of Gods! We are to be STRONG in The Lord!! It is here that we find His mercy & grace! We must be willing to admit our weaknesses & surrender our all to Him! This is where we find His saving grace! “How sweet the sound! That saves a wretch like me!” Love Mel
